Klánovice – Family house

The house was designed for a plot with an irregular trapezoidal shape originally occupied by a low family house with a gable roof. The northwest corner of the plot proved to be the optimum location for the new house designed on the principle of the layered volumes of individual parts, from the lowest (garage) to the highest (guest quarters). The main living mass is finished with broken white plaster, while the guest section is clad in wood. Wooden windows are installed on the house. The three-car garage is optically conceived as a separate structure with natural stone cladding.

The house’s interior designed by Ivo Prokel was also completed in 2012.
